About NIT Arunachal Pradesh
NIT Arunachal Pradesh will begin the BTech admission process for the academic year 2024-25 with JoSAA registration from June 10, 2024. JEE Main 2024 session 2 result has been released on April 24, 2024 in online mode on NTA website. Candidates can download their scorecards using JEE application ID and password. NIT Arunachal Pradesh cutoff will be released by the last week of July 2024.
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Arunachal Pradesh was included in the chain of NITs in India on 18th August 2010. Initially, NIT Arunachal Pradesh began functioning under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has its temporary campus at Yupia, Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh. The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grant Commission (UGC). NIT Arunachal Pradesh had a solar plant installed with a capacity of 100 KW in the year 2013. The institute is entirely residential. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has six boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostels with WiFi connectivity. The hostels are taken care of by the student representatives and a team of wardens. The college provides a transport facility for its students. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has seminar halls and data centres.
The college has a dedicated faculty that is present 24*7 to help their students. NIT Arunachal Pradesh offers 25 courses under five degrees. The degrees are MS, B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD and MBA. Nine departments of the college administrate these courses. To get admission to these courses, students must qualify for the entrance exams and pass the cutoff. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Arunachal Pradesh M.Tech admission is made after a student passes the GATE cut-off 2023. We have included all three rounds of the GATE 2023 cut-off for NIT Arunachal Pradesh. There are different entrance exams for various courses.
To ensure that its students get suitable platforms to showcase their talent and train them to survive and excel in the technology industry, NIT Arunachal Pradesh has a Placement and Training Cell. The cell organises guest lectures, competitions and industry visits from time to time. The students get recruited by companies such as IBM, Nokia, LT, TATA, etc.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh admission 2024 for BTech will start from June 10, 2024 with JoSAA registration. JEE Main session 2 result is released on April 24, 2024. NIT Arunachal Pradesh Placements
NIT Arunachal Pradesh has its own Training and Placement Cell that handles all aspects of on-campus and off-campus placement for the students graduating or post-graduating in all departments of the institute. The NITAP Placement cell is equipped with infrastructure to support every stage involved in the placement process. The staff members of the cell organise written tests, pre-placement talks, interviews and group discussions as per the requirement of the placement procedure.
The recruitment procedure at NIT Arunachal Pradesh includes the following steps.
- Interested companies contact the Training and Placement Cell of NIT Arunachal Pradesh.
- Recruiters deliver pre-placement talks.
- Resumes of interested candidates are sent to the companies.
- Companies release the list of shortlisted candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates then appear for a pen-paper test, group discussion or personal interview (as per companies’ requirements).
- Companies release the list of selected candidates.
- Candidates who have been given a job are not allowed to apply for any other placement opportunity.
Top recruiters include IBM, Nokia TATA Consultancy Services, Mahindra, Wipro, LT, Polaris, etc. The salary package of recruited students ranges from Rs. 3-14 lakh per annum.
